On August 13th, our BodyWorn technology helped Henderson (NV) police identify and capture a suspect who fled the scene of an officer involved shooting. The
suspect and two women were approached by a Henderson police officer after he noticed suspicious activity. The situation escalated after another fellow Henderson
police officer arrived. The suspect ran over one of the officers foot in his escape and struck both officers with his vehicle, fleeing the scene with one of the women.
Officers used footage from our BodyWorn video to identify the suspect.
They tracked down the car the suspect was driving. Although, the person driving the car
was not involved in the incident, he was able to provide officers with a location of the suspect and the woman. The suspect was later arrested and charged. We are
proud that our BodyWorn technology was able to help these officers arrest this dangerous suspect.
