Coreforce, Inc. introduces three products at the 2022 IACP industry tradeshow reflecting a focus on collaboration with law enforcement agency partners.

In the past, evidence storage mostly involved bagging and tagging physical evidence in lockers in a secure location for future use. Digital evidence was stored on floppy disks, VHS tapes and even cassettes to share with the court and partner agencies on a regular basis. “In 22 years we've really changed our technology. When I started, we had a little pocket recorder that used a little microcassette recorder that we would pop that little cassette tape out and put that intoevidence” recalls Lieutenant Peck from the Nampa Idaho Police Department.

Law Enforcement leaders can agree that attracting talented officers in 2022 has proved challenging to say the least. According to the Police Executive Research Forum “Overall hiring is down by 5 percent in the last three years, resignations are up by 18 percent, and retirements have shown a 45 percent increase”.

In August of 2022, Coreforce finalized a contract with the Olive Branch Police Department in the Memphis, Tennessee suburb of Olive Branch, Mississippi. This contract secured a multifaceted municipal ALPR (automated license plate reader) system that Coreforce will install within the next two months as an independent contractor. The Olive Branch Police Department already contracts with Coreforce to serve its body camera needs.

Western Kentucky University (WKU) Police serves a busy campus environment with a lean team of approximately 15 officers. Like many campus agences, WU Police operates under growing expectations for transparency, professionalism, and fast documentation. The department needed these Improvements without adding end-of-shift administrative work.
