The Noblesville Police Department is now the latest department to announce they will move forward with body cameras for all officers this year. “It’s a benefit to our officers, and to the community,” said Chief John Mann of the Noblesville Police Department.

The Pine County Sheriff’s Office and the Pine County Board of Commissioners are taking another step toward the use of body cameras and Coreforce squad cameras for Pine County deputies.

City leaders announced Monday that IMPD officers should begin wearing body-worn cameras in July.

Pasadena police officers will benefit from almost $1 million worth of new high-tech body cameras. The BodyWorn camera system comes with a $940,196 cost covered through a 1/2-cent sales tax collected in the Pasadena Crime Control and Prevention District.
